Caracas is not for tourist to wander around but my cousin was kind of hard to convince. With his age and stubbornness there is not much I can do to protect him. You only start thinking differently when something really happens to you. We are the most dangerous town in the world. Not an invention by me but a real price we got. Besides this Venezuela is the most beautiful country in the world. I traveled here from top to bottom from left to right without any problem.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952897218372774263.post-50954394504411608182009-07-05T10:10:56.856-07:002009-07-05T10:10:56.856-07:00interesting post troz, brings back lots of fond me...interesting post troz, brings back lots of fond memories of crossing that bit of the Venezuelan/Colombian border myself. All trooped off the bus to pay the exit tax (leaving Venezuela) of 37.000 bolívares. Only to have the driver announce two minutes further down the road that there was a further tax of 1.000 bolívares per head, which he balled up tightly in his fist before wandering off to shake hands with the CO of the Guardia Nacional position.jah_minhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04954071304957321095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952897218372774263.post-3259174392117451692009-02-02T08:23:00.000-08:002009-02-02T08:23:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.tjaracashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03656897031192091469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952897218372774263.post-46097843214160294682008-10-06T15:59:00.000-07:002008-10-06T15:59:00.000-07:00Hello Paul. As your uncle-in-law I am, of course, standing by to bail you out of some hellish South American jail sometime over the next year.

However, the quid pro quo is that you have to show us photos of you (+ #1 neice) in situ. I can look at pictures of the Queen Mary in a brochure. I need to see you (+ #1 neice), in your finery, hob-nobbing with the Captain or gawping at the Statue of Liberty.

Ta. Miss you both.

You can choose your friends, family you are stuck withmilesbulloughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17816781669701678665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952897218372774263.post-8379816298635852032008-08-17T02:21:00.000-07:002008-08-17T02:21:00.000-07:00wow if only all caterers worked with these ethics ...wow if only all caterers worked with these ethics i would eat out morebabywhispererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08653494696483351491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1952897218372774263.post-39288451833058943092008-08-15T15:52:00.000-07:002008-08-15T15:52:00.000-07:00HelloHelloLonely Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05324812641080789075noreply@blogger.com
